Crawford wins but Khan lives on to fight another day

After a low blow which was ruled accidental, Amir Khan refused to continue handing a TKO victory to Terrace Crawford during their WBO welterweight world title clash Saturday night.

Khan, who was dropped in characteristic fashion in the first around managed to stabilize before being slowly taken apart by Crawford. With Crawford operating with business as usually things took an odd turn when the champion uncorked a massive low blow the likes of which would make WWE proud.

Khan began to take his time as he is allowed up to 5 minutes to recover from an accidental blow but then had what looked like a change of heart and his corner signaled to referee David Fields that he no longer wanted to continue. Fields waves his arms and the fight is officially stopped.

It appeared that Khan had had enough and sought to find a way out of the fight. Nobody can say for sure but he certainly did not have a clear path to victory with Crawford just settling into the fight by round 6.
