Underdog Terrell Gausha got off to a quick start in his breakout performance versus Austin Trout but only came away with a draw. Gausha pounced from the opening bell setting a fast pace that the aging Trout had difficulty fending off and continued to find success throughout the 10 round bout.
To Trout’s credit he did come on by the mid rounds to make things interesting but his sparse pot shots and intermittent counters were enough to win the fight in the eyes of the crowd and the commentary.
